Crazy Tennessee.......

I continue to marvel at the shenanigans that originate in this state.  Here are the crazy titles of some songs by Tennessee song writers---and a shining performance by one performer, Aaron Wilburn.  It's really good.  Enjoy.

    This video of The Tennessee Wig Walk is hilarious! I don't know how anyone could watch it and not laugh!

    And to think, an official state song!

    Hey, you guys will have to be sure to check out some Knoxville Symphony performances! I really miss playing with that group. A great bunch of folks...you would especially like their Pops series!!! I used to work in the ticket office and would get free tickets for all my friends. My hubby loved going to those concerts at the Tennessee Theater. It's been renovated and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Oh, be sure to go check out the 4th of July pops in the park! They do it every year and show it on WBIR.

    Go to Dollywood for me too, OK? :) We want to take our daughter there some time. And the mountains....awww. There are some good memories for me there but it was also a tough season of my life. Bittersweet.

    OK, sorry for the book! :) Better learn the words to Rocky Top!
