Listen to earth's senses,

Her currents beckon long
God's timeless law condenses

Mere science to a song.

For you are but a vapor,

Here for a little while;

Take time to feel each moment,

So fleeting is Life's smile

Appreciate the plunder

Of rivers, stars and seas;

Remember Life's short wonder

Evokes eternities.

There is a Higher Power

Directing your brief stay;

For time on earth to flower

Requires his Holy Ray.

For you are not aware

Of what tomorrow brings;

Humbleness and praise are rare

But necessary things.

For you are but a vapor,

Here for a little while;

Take time to feel each moment,

So fleeting is Life's smile.
