Ten Questions....

1.   How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?

2.   What is the one thing you'd most like to change about the world?

3.   Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?

4.   To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?

5.   If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you have lived your life differently?

6.   If you could offer a newborn child just one piece of advice, what would it be?

7.   Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?

8.   If you had to move to another state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would it be?  Why?

9.   Has worry ever benefitted you?

10. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?

  1. 1) Varies day to day.

    2) There would be no war or hatred.

    3) A little of both.

    4) To no degree.

    5) I would have wasted no time learning to say
the word "no" to things/events/people that
did not enrich anyone's life ... including
    my own.

    6) Learn to say "no" and floss daily.

    7) Afraid so but am getting better concerning
    my hoarding tendencies.

    8) Knoxville, Tennessee because taxes would not
be over $100 a week, beautiful countryside
there where homegrown tomatoes actually grow
and most importantly we would be closer to
    family.

    9) What, me worry? ;-) Of course it has never
benefitted me in any way, actually harmed me.

    10) Meeting Clint and beginning our life
    together. ♥

  5. Silly me. I thought I could get away without actually putting down my own answers, but friends like Patrina won't allow that. So...

    1. My present age, 66. I was tempted to say something younger, but why?

    2. There would be no more hate---only understanding

    3. Most of my life I have done things for the wrong reasons---took jobs that paid more over those that I would have loved and grown in. Even now, it is often a struggle to do those things that I want to do over those that carry expectations of others or offer some temporary advantage.

    4. The fact is that I have done a poor job in controlling my life's course. Over the last dozen years or so, I have thankfully found that when I focus on Jesus and turn my life over to Him, I soar.

    5. I would have dedicated my life to The Higher Purpose and tried to live every day more intensely.

    6. Turn your life over to Him and let Him guide you in all things.

    7. Yes

    8. Tough one. I am attracted to various places. I enjoy solitude, but I also like having friends around. I like the lakes, rivers, woodlands---but I also like cities. I need to think about this question more before I can answer it.

    9. NEVER!

    10. When Cindy and I met and got married.

  9. Hi there! Over on 'Ladybug from TX' blog, you asked for a different idea, for Valentine's Day this year. Perhaps you can do what we will be doing. Although I hope it's not as delayed, as our's will be.

Due to lots of health issues, I haven't been able to have our New Year's Eve bottle of "Bubbly." -sighhhhhhhhhhhh- So, we are planning on having it, on Valentine's Day! Better late than never. :-)

Valentine's Day is not something I am that into. Can't eat chocolate, or many foods, so dinner out is not in the cards. Flowers are too expensive and last so little time, for it to be worth it.

But this year, we will enjoy our well chilled New Year's Eve champagne!!! :-)

Perhaps you could try doing something like this.... Have a chilled bottle of "Champagne"... Bring home a yummy chocolate dessert, if she can eat it. Have the glasses of sparkling wine and the decadent dessert and.....

Wouldn't that be a bit different? Maybe? :-)

    Hugs and ♥'s...
    'Cause Valentine Day is coming!

  12. Sometimes I feel tired and old like 45, sometimes I feel light and young, like 35.

The world is perfect as it is.

I feel grateful to be able to do what I am doing now.

    Nil.

I am just grateful of what I am today.

The list of advise to a newborn would very long, I would settle with a prayer.

I am holding to something that I pray I would never let go. I don't think I have anything the other way around.

I pray that I don't ever have to leave home, but if I had to then I hope I could move to Singapore, because it is near and I know I would still have my freedom and choice.

The only benefit of worry to me is it would make me think of God and pray to Him to ease my worries.

I have to work on not not feeling passionate and alive since the passing of my husband.

  14. I seem stuck on the newborn baby question... all of them really - give one lots to think about...

  15. Oh my goodness, it would take me hours to answer all these! GREAT questions! I wish we all would ponder these things more often.

Here's a quick answer to #6, advice for the newborn: Don't watch TV, be the person God made you to be not the person others mold you into.
