After using the juicer every day for several days now, I can report that we are thrilled with everything about it. It is fast, quiet, cleans easily and produces fantastic tasting, healthy potions.
The Jack Lalanne Power Juicer |
It Comes With An Instruction Booklet With Recipes, But You Can Experiment and Never Go Wrong |
We decided on the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer. Cost: $100. It has an excellent reputation; big, yet quiet motor; surgical steel cutter; easy to clean design and so easy to use that even a man can do it.
So far, I have juiced various mixtures of broccoli, turnips, celery, carrots, strawberries, grapes, apples, oranges, blueberries, tomatoes and beets. The combinations are endless. Just think---to have that stuff runnin' through your bod every day has GOT to be good for ya!
This One Has Carrots, Celery, Grapes, Strawberries, Apple and Turnip YUMMMMM! |
that's pretty cool. i gotta say, one good way to get your veggies!
ReplyDeleteI drink daily orange and cranberry juice but as I am not keen on veggies with the exception of carrots this may be a good way for me to get my veg. Will look out for a suitable juicer here.
ReplyDeleteHave a peaceful Sunday.
Yvonne.
Love your post, I am happy we bought the juicer. I know we had talked about getting one for years. It does taste so good and fresh.
ReplyDeleteHappy Juicing to Us! :-)

How great and your body thanks you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic way to use up those veggies which I end up throwing out before I get a chance to use them. Thank you for the heads up on the juicer, I just might have to check into one of these handy little machines. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBeen thinking about one. You might have pushed me over the edge.

Daily workouts and healthy juice. Then nothing
ReplyDeletecan goes wrong!!
A great summer to you guys!!!!!!
What a great way to compliment your workouts! A low sodium form of V8, huh?
ReplyDeleteYum!!
This post was an absolute delight. Since my husband had a heart attack on 2006, an angioplasty and five stents in 2007, and died of congestive heart failure in 2008, I have known first hand the importance of eating healthy.
ReplyDeleteHave read dozens of health manuals, even the kind of vitamin pills to take ( end result - I don't take vitamin and mineral pills anymore, turned out they do you more harm than good, from all the synthetics thats incorporated into them... I now only take sodium ascorbate 500mg first thing upon getting up in the morning, with a glass of warm water).
I do eat healthy, Clint. But my only setback is that the juicer I have (won't mention the brand) is difficult to clean up after use.
It would be easy for me to have my sister or best friend buy that juicer you mentioned for me! Thanks a zillion for this post... and that's one more Jack Lalanne Power Juicer off the market and into my kitchen counter.
I also have a little idea on how to make the right combinations for fruit and vegies... so this gadget will really do wonders for me.
Again thanks.
Blessings
Lidj
Well Clint, you have inspired me to take my long unused juicer out, but it will be more like bananas, guava and papaya that will be juiced together. Thanks for the inspiration! Have a great week. :)
ReplyDeleteAnything that can mix strawberries and turnips and make them taste good, has to be amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow Clint! That looks really really healthy!
ReplyDeletehaha
I'm glad you are enjoying it!

p.s. thanks for your great comment on "crazy americans' but i am sorry to hear you had such a bad experience in Germany. I kinda thought only Holland was bad...

ReplyDeleteI love fresh juices, and I am drinking fresh orange juice every morning. It's like a ritual for me.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful monday and take care

Clint I am happy you are enjoying your juicer. The combinations sound wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI have a juicer sitting on a shelf with all the other wonderful appliances I thought I could not live without at the time. Funny I miss it I just did not like cleaning it. No I do not have a dishwasher. I am the dishwasher. LOL... B
well if you ever get tired of it- I have even checked craigslist-they want what they paid for it practically. I didn't get the nutrition I need at all because I'm always trying to make a meal go farther,I don't really care what I eat but I do. my niece is even a nutrition coach-but I can't afford her[ITS ALL ABOUT MOMEY-MONEY MONEY-DO YOU SING THAT SONG?]
ReplyDeleteHappy juicing! Fruit always helps me on the v8 tip :)
